- Sanjay is  a committee member for a three-year term in the “Marathi Sangeet Rangbhumi Shatkottar Amrit Mahotsav Gazetteer Main Committee” of the Government of Maharashtra.
- Sanjay Gosavi is a disciple of legendary Marathi actor Natwarya Chandu Degvekar.
- He has participated in various programs related to Marathi Musical Theatre on All India Radio (AIR) as well as Doordarshan.
- Sanjay has been actively associated with Marathi theatre for many years working alongside legendary senior stage artists such as Sharad Talwalkar, Jaymalabai Shiledar, Ramdas Kamat, Vasant Shinde, Chandrakant Gokhale, Chittaranjan Kolhatkar, Chandu Degvekar, Kirti Shiledar, Lata Shiledar, Mr. and Mrs. Ravindra and Vandana Ghangurde.
- Sanjay has conceived, moderated and performed in successful presentations of several vocal, instrumental, and thematic concerts, pairing with various distinguished singers in addition to his active organizational and management work for eminent art and cultural institutions in Pune and Mumbai for more than two decades.
